A superb ice-lip jug made from mouthblown, clear glass with a thick, rounded scissor-cut rim and hand-drawn lip.
Beautifully balanced this fine example of a jug is mouthblown from glass of great clarity, using the highly skilled technique of scissor-cutting to leave an attractive, thick, round finish to the rim. The ice-lip is then pulled into shape by hand while the glass is still in a semi-molten state, after which the handle is applied.
