From social occasions to peaceful moments of reflection, our AW21 collections explore ways to connect us with each other and the world around us. Our intention is to consider how products might serve a greater purpose and enhance the environment: improving our surroundings while leaving less of an impact on the earth.
Versatility adds intrinsic value and longevity to an object and our new collection has been designed to allow you to do more with less. AW21 features vases which are also lanterns, tumblers which may be used for water, wine or cocktails, and containers designed for storage in the kitchen, bedroom or bathroom. We consider how a piece, originally bought for a specific use, may be repurposed and given a new lease of life over time. Throughout the collection we continue to use sustainable materials, such as FSC-certified wood, and our infinitely recyclable primary material, glass. Buying less, buying better, owning for longer. A responsible approach to design and craft which aims to create something of value.
Handle
A versatile collection of mouth-blown glass pots, designed primarily as tealight holders but which can be used in a number of different ways. Fill with a posy of freshly cut flowers from the garden, plant with a small seedling, use on the desktop to store stationery or display on a shelf or sideboard as a decorative pot. Available in a variety of rich colours, the cylindrical shapes have a partially textured finish and thick slab handle, formed by hand.
Wicker
Complementing the collection’s existing range of vases and drinkware, mouth-blown serveware is new to WICKER this season. The cylindrical jug, containers, stemmed comport and dome with ash base all feature a band of texture, inspired by woven wicker, made by blowing molten glass into a specially-crafted mould to produce a distinctive tactile surface. The containers feature deep lids which allow the two pieces to be used separately as a vase or lantern and bowl. A versatile piece for storage and display throughout the home. Fill with dried pasta in the kitchen or use to store scented salts in the bathroom. Or use separately as a vase for fresh flowers and a fruit bowl in the centre of a dining table.
Rocker
Balancing on a curved base, these spherical tumblers gently rock from side to side, adding movement to the simple shape. The contemporary rounded glasses may be used in a number of different ways, from whisky on the rocks and short cocktails to wine and water. Dishwasher-safe and almost endlessly versatile, Rocker is a practical and versatile design for the modern home.
Pearl
Inspired by the iridescent shimmer of a pearl, a champagne set for two joins this popular collection this season. The flutes and bucket are mouth-blown to give the glass a subtle partial texture, and then hand painted with a mother of pearl lustre.
Aurora
A capsule collection of contemporary drinkware pieces inspired by the inky iridescence of the Northern Lights. Each piece is hand painted with polar violet lustre, evocative of the incandescent colours that illuminate the night sky. Featuring fine rims and straight stems, the modern barware shapes add a touch of sophistication to cocktail hour or dining occasions.
Luca
A collection of modernist, mouth-blown drinkware shapes embellished with understated metallic decoration. The generous spherical bowls, tubular stems and disc-shaped feet create a contemporary silhouette. A thick gold band is hand painted around the rims or feet, without masking, demonstrating the expert skill and hand-eye coordination of the painter. With its subtle yet graphic metallic decoration, Luca may be used to add contemporary opulence to a table setting, cocktail party or festive occasion.

Lagoon
The Lagoon collection comprises a series of new vases/lanterns with unique, rippling forms, evocative of the shapes of lagoons. Each piece is mouth-blown from cased opaline or sea green glass, which is achieved by encasing the coloured glass within a layer of clear before blowing. The ocean-inspired palette has a translucent quality, reflecting the clarity of the water and effervescence of tidal foam. The organic forms may be used as lanterns or vases, naturally arranging flowers in the undulating curves of the glass or reflecting the glow of candlelight. Available from November.
