A mouth-blown glass vase/lantern with sustainably-sourced ash base. A step in the base of the vase nests inside the wood. The glass and wood are the same width for a streamlined silhouette. Designed to be used as a vase or lantern. Candle not supplied.

Materials & making

The contemporary Lotta vase/lantern is mouth blown by skilled glassblowers and the rim is melted to achieve a soft rounded finish. The natural wooden raised base is shaped from ash. The wood is sourced from sustainably-managed European forests and certified by the Forest Stewardship Council.

Care

Handwash the glass in warm soapy water and dry with a soft cloth. Clean the wood with a soft brush or damp cloth. Do not leave immersed in water or place in a dishwasher. Allow to dry naturally.
