Details

A pair of beer glasses with short stems, generous bowls and a subtly fluted texture. Mouth blown from 100% recycled glass. May also be used as balloon glasses for long cocktails or gin and tonic with ice.

Materials & making

Locally sourced clear jars and bottles are sorted, crushed and heated in the furnace until molten. The skilled glassblower gathers, shapes and makes impressions in the glass that will form the partial optic texture. It is then blown into a wooden mould to form the beer glass. The foot is shaped and attached to the stem by hand. Air bubbles will occur as part of this 100% recycled and handmade process.

Care

Handwash in warm soapy water and dry with a soft cloth.
