Sustainability

We are conscious of our responsibility to reduce our environmental impact. Our intention is to create useful, relevant products which endure in quality and style. Our focus includes investment in solutions which address environmental issues and a consciousness of what we create and how.

Designing for the present, using techniques from the past, without compromising the future.

A sustainable approach

We work ethically and transparently with our team and partners to collectively explore more sustainable practices. Progress not perfection: sustainability is a complex issue with many challenges but we are committed to minimising our environmental, social and economic impact.

Design philosophy

By designing lasting, considered products we encourage people to make sustainable choices: buying less and owning for longer. A responsible approach to design which aims to create something of value.

LSA x Eden Project

Seeking to present positive change through design, we work with partners whose own goals reflect and align with our own. Supporting their global mission to build relationships between people and the natural world, we collaborated with the Eden Project to create the Canopy collection.

Canopy collection

Developed in collaboration with the Eden Project, Canopy is a collection of handmade, recycled glass products. Centred around the concepts of hydration and propagation Canopy addresses environmental concerns around single-use plastics, water conservation and plant preservation.

Endlessly recyclable glass

Glass as a material is infinitely recyclable. We also use discarded waste material in our recycled glass collections, transforming bottles and jars into useful products.
