LSA Wicker Collection
Translating the woven texture of a basket into mouth-blown glass, the Wicker Collection brings a tactile, naturalistic quality to a family of drinkware and decorative pieces. A wide textured band runs horizontally around each item, produced by blowing the glass into a mould lined with a metal net - a technique that impresses the mesh pattern permanently into the glass surface. The result is a subtle but unmistakable reference to the craft of basket-making, translated into a modern glass language. The collection is substantial, covering decorative bowls, serving pitchers, carafes, wine glasses, candle holders, cake stands, tumblers, highballs and vases, along with specialty pieces such as a glass container with lid and a dome-and-ash-base pairing. The wicker band sits consistently in the same position across the range, so mixing pieces within the collection produces a coherent tabletop or sideboard setting. Every item is mouth-blown by skilled glassmakers in Europe, with rims melted under a flame for a soft, rounded finish that complements the softer, more organic quality of the wicker-textured band. The collection suits relaxed, warm interior settings particularly well.
