Mouth-blown cylindrical vases and lanterns, each hand-painted with real gold to create a highly reflective finish that gently refracts candlelight and ambient light. The name is drawn from the Latin for gold, aligning with a collection defined by its metallic, warm-toned character. Stepped cylindrical forms are accented by hand-painted gold bands, which catch the flame of a tealight or the soft glow of a table lamp and cast a subtle warmth into the surrounding space. Each piece is mouth-blown by skilled glassblowers with rims that have been cut and polished by hand, then painted with gold and fired at high temperature. Versatile by design, the collection functions equally well as tealight holders, lanterns or vases.
