Canopy

Canopy is a sustainably made glassware collection developed with the Eden Project, centred on hydration, propagation and bringing plants into the home. Every piece is mouth-blown from 100% locally sourced recycled glass, with natural cork components. Spanning self-watering planters, hanging planters, carafes, tumblers, bowls and vases, no two pieces are identical.

Developed in collaboration with the Eden Project and inspired by the domed biospheres of the Cornwall site. The collection draws on themes of hydration, propagation and biophilic design - the practice of bringing plants into living spaces and the rituals of caring for them.

Each piece is mouth-blown from recycled glass. Locally sourced jars and bottles are sorted, crushed and heated until molten, then gathered, shaped and blown into wooden moulds. Air bubbles are part of the recycled, handmade process - accepted, not corrected.

Crafted from 100% locally sourced recycled glass paired with cork components - natural, biodegradable, recyclable and renewable. A circular material approach where glass is reformed into glass without loss of quality or character.

LSA Canopy Collection

Launched in collaboration with the Eden Project, Canopy is a sustainably manufactured glassware collection centred on hydration, propagation and bringing plants into the home. Every piece is mouth-blown from 100% locally sourced recycled glass - clear jars and bottles sorted, crushed and heated in the furnace until molten. The collection spans self-watering planters, hanging planters, closed gardens, carafes, ice buckets, tumblers, beer glasses, bowls and vases. Small air bubbles and subtle variations are part of the character of the range; no two pieces are identical. The self-watering design uses sub-irrigation to feed water directly to the roots, supporting healthier growth with less intervention. Cork components are natural, biodegradable and renewable. Canopy is LSA's most clearly articulated sustainability story - specific, traceable and rooted in the skill of European glassmaking. It is a collection for homes that value both craft and the continued health of the natural world the craft draws from.
