LSA Beacon Collection
Conical mouth-blown glass forms with a pleated texture, housing a removable steel candleholder at the base - Beacon is a modular collection of mixed-material candleholders. The modularity is part of the point. Used together, the glass and the steel work as a candleholder that adds warmth and ambience to a room. Used separately, the textured glass vessel can hold flowers, dried stems or simply stand alone as a sculptural object. Each glass form is mouth-blown into a specially designed metal mould that gives it the pleated texture, and the rims are cut and polished to a clean modern finish. The steel candleholder is cut and pressed into shape before being powder-coated for a durable finish. The textured glass catches and refracts light in a way that flat glass cannot, so even a single tealight set within a Beacon piece casts a softened, rippled glow. For tablescapes, mantelpieces and low-lit dinners, Beacon is a versatile object that earns its place by doing several things well.
