Aurelia

Aurelia is a collection of mouth-blown drinkware and serving pieces defined by a finely-fluted optic texture - a subtle vertical ripple that catches light and enhances the reflective quality of the glass. Stems are drawn by hand from the bowl, with feet shaped using wooden tools. The range spans wine glasses, champagne flutes and saucers, cocktail glasses and carafes.

A fine linear texture enhances the curvature of the bowl and catches the light with a subtle optic effect. The collection echoes the rhythmic patterns of classical columns, reimagined in contemporary stemware proportions.

Each glass is mouth-blown by skilled glassblowers, with the optic effect formed by impressions in the molten glass during blowing. Stems are hand-drawn from the bowl, and feet are shaped with a wooden tool and applied by hand.

Crafted from clear glass selected for its clarity, weight and ability to hold a fine optic texture. The undecorated material lets the play of light through the fluting carry the visual character of each piece.
