LSA Dapple Collection
The fluid, undulating surface texture of Dapple is inspired by dappled light - the shifting pattern of sunlight falling through leaves onto water, earth and woodland. The texture is integral to the piece rather than applied to it, formed during the blowing process into a soft rippled surface that refracts light across the glass. The range spans a Bowl, a Carafe, a Tumbler, a Wine Glass, a Vase/Lantern, a Vase, a Tealight Holder/Vase and a Bud Vase - each carrying the same fluid surface treatment in a range of coloured glasses. Mouth-blown by skilled glassblowers from coloured glass to create curved shapes, each piece has a rim that is expertly cut and polished to create a flat, modern finish.
