LSA Host Collection
Defined by arching curves of solid glass, hand-painted metallic interiors and flat polished rims, Host treats the decorative bowl as a sculptural object rather than a container for fruit or nuts. Each bowl is mouth-blown by master glassblowers to create its exceptionally thick, heavy walls and weighted base. The walls are solid enough to give the piece real presence, and the clean arching curves carry the eye around the form in a single continuous movement. The rim is expertly cut and polished to achieve the flat wide edge that gives the collection its structural character. The inside of the bowl is then hand-painted with precious metallic paint, creating an interior surface that catches and reflects light across the inside of the piece. Host is for homes that value standalone sculptural pieces - an intentional object for a console, a sideboard or the centre of a low table.
