Best of Season: Flower Arranging with Petal to the Metal
Late spring is one of the highlights of the calendar year for florists, due to an abundance of locally grown flowers. To make the most of the season's offerings, friend of LSA, founder and creative director Paul Furness from Petal to the Metal, has created an exclusive how-to guide for seasonal arrangements, each one inspired by the shapes and textures of an LSA vase collection.
PLEAT
Blue Nigella (Love in a mist) and orlaya
"Early summer flowers using blue Nigella (love-in-a-mist) and orlaya. Both varieties provide a mix of textures and shapes, with lots of lovely branches on the stem of each flower. The pairing of the two different sized PLEAT vases gives the arrangement a much more interesting look and feel."

Gloriosa and peonies
"Creating simplicity in design and a magical colour match between the apricot Gloriosa and the coral peony, which will lighten in colour as it opens ending up as a very light, pale shade of apricot."
