The domed base of this carafe is inspired by the iconic biospheres of the Eden Project site in Cornwall. Handmade from 100% recycled and recyclable glass.

A cylindrical carafe with angled rim, subtly domed base and cork stopper. Inspired by the Eden Project’s biospheres. Made from recycled glass and agglomerated cork, following the sustainable practice of turning discarded material into something useful.

The Canopy carafe is mouth blown from recycled glass. Locally-sourced clear jars and bottles are sorted, crushed and heated in the furnace until molten. The skilled glassblower gathers, shapes and then blows the molten glass into a mould to form the carafe. The spout is shaped and formed by hand while the glass is still malleable. The cork is a natural material which is 100% biodegradable, recyclable and renewable based on a sustainable cycle.

Handwash the glass in warm soapy water and dry with a soft cloth. Clean the cork with a soft brush or damp cloth. Do not leave immersed in water or place in a dishwasher. Allow to dry naturally.
