A segmented vase/bulb planter handmade from 100% recycled and recyclable glass. Inspired by the iconic biospheres of the Eden Project site in Cornwall.

Details

A vase/bulb planter inspired by the Eden project’s biospheres and focus on sustainability. Mouthblown from recycled glass, following the sustainable practice of turning discarded material into something useful. The shape is designed to contain a bulb in the upper section while allowing the roots to grow in the water beneath.

The Canopy vase/bulb planter is mouth blown from recycled glass. Locally-sourced clear jars and bottles are sorted, crushed and heated in the furnace until molten. The skilled glassblower gathers, shapes and then blows the molten glass into a mould to form the vase/bulb planter. Air bubbles will occur as part of this 100% recycled and handmade process.

Handwash in warm soapy water and dry with a soft cloth.
